On the due date, each student shares the significance of their picture and quote - why are they meaningful? Afterwards they all go on the walls of the classroom.

They love looking at the walls to see what others have done. It is a good ice breaker for the start of the year.

Some students produce a single picture with a quote, and others get really into it and create collages with multiple quotes.
